Magilou is a self-proclaimed sorceress and leader of Magilou's Menagerie. With an affinity for dramatics, she strides into each and every situation with an air of confidence and composure. Sometimes, these situations are drenched with smarmy humor or witty references. Other times, she's placing poor and unsuspecting fools into potentially embarrassing situations for her own amusement. It's never malicious, of course, but rather eccentric. Beyond those theatrics is a very intelligent, very sharp young lady. Her teachings have developed a sense of meticulous problem-solving. Magilou is quick to find a solution, or quick to take note of inconsistencies. She's quick on her feet and usually has some sort of answer, whether it be one relating to the world at large, the situation at hand, or a factoid regarding the group's current situation. Still, some may label her a jokester and others may label her as dramatically childish. It's a good front to put on, because it keeps people guessing and no one ever takes her too seriously. Which honestly, is what she wants. "I suppose you'll never understand. People can be so miserable. Not that it matters, really." Apart from her "companion" Bienfu, who claims that she treats him oh-so poorly and he often cries in desperation at how mean she is, Magilou really doesn't have friends. Beneath her eccentricity, Magilou is a very broken person. From a young age, she has suffered emotional trauma and been told that she just isn't quite "right." Abandoned by her parents, and then eventually tossed aside by Melchior after failing an "important test" - the closest thing to a father figure she had that at one point she wanted to make proud - Magulou has very little faith in people. Her heart has been broken far too many times to risk getting hurt again. Throughout the game, she references that she simply doesn't care about anything. Her past impacts how she deals with those around her. Magilou refuses to get close to anyone. While people are entertaining and fun to puzzle out, she has no real interest in getting attached. People are disappointing and she has a very cynical view of the world. Actual tender human emotion is a foreign concept to her. Long ago, Magilou cast away emotions as needlessly messy. It's a self-preservation tactic, really. "Come now, I know you've got a bigger heart than that! Surely you have it in you to give a nickname to a dear friend." Even though Magilou claims her heart is cold and she's incapable of feeling, her actions speak otherwise. Magilou is fascinated by Velvet and her "hatred" and desire of "revenge." Partly due to Magilou's own complicated feelings regarding Melchior, Velvet becomes a sort of wonder for the young witch. While Magilou doesn't exactly try to get close to her, behind the scenes Magilou seems to be rooting for her nonetheless, even if she's seemingly betting against her and is ready to ditch the group whenever is most beneficial for her. Despite not having a poignant and expressed purpose like Velvet does, Magilou's desire to prove herself and confront Melchior are very synonymous. Perhaps Magilou sees herself in Velvet, and the poking and prodding at her expense are just reflections of her own self; maybe, deep down, she wants to have friends and deep down, she knows she can't cut off her feelings and shut down her heart no matter how hard she tries. At the end of the day, Magilou is tending to a broken heart and through the help of the group, she is slowly starting to feel again. She grows quietly attached to the group of idiots and she's starting to think maybe, just maybe, that isn't such a bad thing after all. "Well, that's how cold I was. In fact, that wasn't enough, so I set the house on fire, too!" POWERS: Magilou is a witch. She uses Guardians in battle, both offensively and defensively. Her magic ranges in type, from healing spells to elemental attacks. OTHER: GAME INFO; CRAU INFO: MAGIC ABILITY: imitation: for a short period of time (usually ten minutes) magilou is able to imitate any noise she has just heard. this includes voices. PRICE: Bienfu ACCLIMATION: 8: While Magilou isn't the most adaptable person in the world, her general disinterest and lack of care make her quick to bounce back. She has no true attachment to anything back home, so it should be easy for her to adapt quickly to the coven, given that she's also a "witch."
